Saldo — Personal Finance Tracker
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using Saldo ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the App.
These Terms constitute a legal agreement between you ("the User") and nezdev ("we", "the Developer"), the creator and owner of the App.
2. Description of Service
Saldo is a personal finance management tool for iOS devices that allows you to:
- Log daily expenses quickly with categories and accounts
- Set and track monthly budgets per category
- Manage multiple financial accounts (cash, debit, credit, savings)
- Register and automate recurring charges (subscriptions, rent, bills)
- View spending summaries and budget progress from a dashboard
The App processes all information locally on the User's device, without sending data to external servers.
3. Financial Data — Disclaimer
IMPORTANT NOTICE: Saldo is a personal tracking tool, NOT a financial advisor, accountant, or banking application.
- Saldo does not connect to bank accounts, payment processors, or financial institutions.
- All data entered into the App is manually provided by the User. nezdev does not verify the accuracy or completeness of any financial data entered.
- The App is not intended to provide financial advice, tax guidance, or investment recommendations.
- nezdev is not responsible for financial decisions made based on information displayed in the App. The User accepts full responsibility for interpreting and acting on their financial data.
- We strongly recommend consulting a qualified financial professional for important financial decisions.
4. Data Entry and Accuracy — Limitations
- Saldo relies entirely on user-provided data. The accuracy of budgets, balances, and spending summaries depends on the correctness and completeness of the data entered by the User.
- Recurring expense automation is based on user-configured rules and may not reflect actual charges from service providers.
- nezdev does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or precision of calculations, summaries, or projections displayed in the App.
5. Pricing and Support
5.1 Free App
Saldo is completely free to use with no ads, no premium tiers, and no feature restrictions. All functionality is available to every user at no cost.
5.2 Voluntary Support
Saldo may offer an optional way for users to voluntarily support the development of the App. This is entirely optional and does not unlock additional features or provide any preferential treatment.
5.3 Payment Processing
- Any voluntary contributions are processed through Apple App Store.
- nezdev does not have access to User payment information (credit cards, bank details).
- Prices, currencies, and payment terms are subject to Apple's policies.
5.4 Refunds
- Refund requests for voluntary contributions must be directed to Apple.
- nezdev does not process refunds directly. Refunds are subject to Apple's App Store policies.
6. Intellectual Property
- The App, including its source code, design, logos, iconography, text, and documentation, is the exclusive property of nezdev.
- The User is granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the App solely for personal and non-commercial use.
- The User may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, rent, or reverse-engineer the App or any part of it.
7. User Conduct
The User agrees to:
- Use the App only for its intended purposes.
- Not attempt to access restricted features through unauthorized methods.
- Not use the App for illegal activities or activities that infringe on third-party rights.
- Not attempt to extract, decompile, or reverse-engineer the App's source code.
8. Service Availability
- nezdev strives to keep the App operational but does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.
- The App may experience interruptions due to updates, maintenance, operating system changes, or circumstances beyond our control.
- We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App (or any part of it) at any time, with or without prior notice.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, nezdev expressly disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to:
- Implied warranties of merchantability
- Fitness for a particular purpose
- Non-infringement of third-party rights
- Accuracy, reliability, or completeness of content, calculations, or results
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW:
- nezdev, its directors, employees, agents, and affiliates shall not be liable for direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:
- Loss of financial data, transaction records, or budgets
- Loss of revenue or profits
- Financial decisions based on App data
- Damage to device or software
- Any other intangible damages
- nezdev's total cumulative liability to the User for any claim related to the App shall not exceed the total amount paid by the User to nezdev in the past 12 months, or $10 USD, whichever is greater.
11. Indemnification
The User agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless nezdev, its directors, employees, and agents from any claim, demand, loss, liability, cost, or expense (including reasonable attorney fees) arising from:
- The User's use or misuse of the App
- The User's violation of these Terms
- The User's violation of third-party rights
12. Modifications
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately after posting on this page with a new "last updated" date.
Continued use of the App after the modified Terms are posted constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. If you do not agree with the changes, you must stop using the App.
13. Termination
- nezdev may suspend or terminate the User's access to the App at any time, for any reason, without prior notice.
- The User may terminate this agreement by ceasing to use and uninstalling the App.
- Sections 3, 9, 10, and 11 (Disclaimer, Warranties, Limitation of Liability, and Indemnification) survive the termination of these Terms.
14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the applicable laws in the Developer's jurisdiction. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of said jurisdiction.
15. General Provisions
- Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
- Waiver: Failure to exercise any right by nezdev does not constitute a waiver of that right.
- Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between the User and nezdev regarding the App.
