ClariCode — QR & Barcode Scanner
1. Introduction
ClariCode ("the App") is a mobile application developed by nezdev ("we", "our") that allows users to scan and generate QR codes and barcodes on their Android devices. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our App.
By downloading, installing, or using ClariCode, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
2. Information We Do NOT Collect
ClariCode was designed with privacy as a fundamental principle:
- We do not collect personally identifiable data. We do not request your name, email, phone number, or any identity data.
- We do not create user accounts. The App works without registration.
- We do not send scanned codes, generated codes, or any data to any server. All processing occurs exclusively on your device.
- We do not store data in the cloud. We do not operate servers or databases containing user information.
- We do not track your location.
- We do not sell, rent, or share personal data with third parties.
3. Information We Process Locally
To function, ClariCode accesses the following information exclusively on your device, without transmitting it externally:
3.1 Camera
- The App accesses your camera to scan QR codes and barcodes in real time.
- Camera data is processed on-device and is never recorded, stored, or transmitted.
- No image or video from the camera is saved unless you explicitly choose to save a generated code.
3.2 Scan History
- The App stores a local history of scanned and generated codes on your device.
- This history is stored via local storage (
SharedPreferences / local database) and is never transmitted externally.
3.3 Storage
- The App may save generated QR codes or barcodes as images to your device storage when you explicitly choose to do so.
- It does not access or read other files on your device.
4. Device Permissions
ClariCode requests the following operating system permissions:

You can revoke any of these permissions at any time from your device settings. Revoking permissions may limit certain App features.
5. Third-Party Services
5.1 Google AdMob (Advertising)
- Displays ads in the free version of the App.
- Google AdMob may collect device identifiers, usage data, and network information to personalize ads.

5.2 Google Play Store
- In-app purchases (if applicable) are processed through Google Play's official payment system.
- nezdev does not have access to credit card data or user financial information.
6. Children's Privacy
ClariCode is not directed at children under 13. We do not intentionally collect information from minors. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a minor has provided information through the App, contact us at support@nezdev.tech.
7. Data Retention and Deletion
- Local data: All scan history and preferences are stored exclusively on your device. Uninstalling the App automatically deletes all this data.
- Third-party data: Data collected by AdMob is subject to Google's retention policies.
8. Security
- All scanning and code generation occurs on the device.
- We do not transmit sensitive data over networks.
- The App does not require internet access for core functionality.
However, no electronic processing method is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute information security.
9. International Data Transfer
nezdev does not transfer personal data to international servers. However, Google AdMob may process data on servers located outside your country of residence, subject to Google's privacy policy.
10. Your Rights
- Access: Request information about the data we process.
- Deletion: Delete all local data by uninstalling the App.
- Permission revocation: Revoke App permissions from your device settings.
- Opt-out of personalized ads: Adjust ad settings from your device settings.
11. Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
