ClariCode — QR & Barcode Scanner
1. Introduction
ClariCode ("the App") is a mobile application developed by nezdev ("we", "our") that lets you scan and generate QR codes and barcodes on Android devices. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our App.
By downloading, installing, or using ClariCode, you agree to the practices described here. If you don't agree, please don't use the App.
2. Information We Do NOT Collect
ClariCode was designed with privacy as a core principle:
- We don't collect personal data. We don't ask for your name, email, phone number, or any identity information.
- No accounts required. The App works without registration.
- Scanned codes, generated codes, and all data stay on your device. All processing happens exclusively on your phone.
- No cloud storage. We don't run servers or databases with user information.
- No location tracking.
- We never sell, rent, or share personal data with third parties.
3. Information We Process Locally
To work properly, ClariCode accesses the following information exclusively on your device:
3.1 Camera
- The App uses your camera to scan QR codes and barcodes in real time.
- Camera data is processed on-device and is never recorded, stored, or transmitted.
- No image or video is saved unless you explicitly choose to save a generated code.
3.2 Scan History
- The App keeps a local history of scanned and generated codes on your device.
- This history is stored locally and never transmitted externally.
3.3 Storage
- The App may save generated QR or barcodes as images to your device when you choose to do so.
- It doesn't access or read other files on your device.
4. Device Permissions
ClariCode requests the following permissions:

You can revoke any of these permissions at any time from your device settings. Revoking permissions may limit certain App features.
5. Third-Party Services
5.1 Google AdMob (Advertising)
- Displays ads in the free version of the App.
- Google AdMob may collect device identifiers, usage data, and network information to personalize ads.

5.2 Google Play Store
- In-app purchases (if applicable) go through Google Play's official payment system.
- nezdev does not have access to your payment information.
6. Children's Privacy
ClariCode is not designed for children under 13. We don't intentionally collect information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided information through the App, contact us at support@nezdev.tech.
7. Data Retention and Deletion
- Local data: All scan history and preferences live exclusively on your device. Uninstalling the App deletes everything.
- Third-party data: Data collected by AdMob is subject to Google's retention policies.
8. Security
- All scanning and code generation happens on your device.
- We don't transmit sensitive data over networks.
- The App doesn't require internet access for core functionality.
However, no electronic processing method is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute information security.
9. International Data Transfer
nezdev does not transfer personal data to international servers. However, Google AdMob may process data on servers outside your country, subject to Google's privacy policy.
10. Your Rights
- Access: Request information about processed data.
- Deletion: Delete all local data by uninstalling the App.
- Permissions: Revoke App permissions from your device settings.
- Ad personalization: Adjust ad settings from your device settings.
11. Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
